Ballet BC Gift Certificate Raffle Rules of Play

  • The raffle will take place from Monday, January 5 - Monday, February 2, 2025, with the final draw occurring on Thursday, February 5, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at 1286 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC, V6H 3R8. Tickets will be available for purchase online at https://balletbcraffle.com.
  • All tickets will only be sold to individuals who are 19 years of age or older.
  • Ticket Prices:
    • 1 ticket for $15
    • 5 tickets for $25
    • 15 tickets for $50
    • 50 tickets for $100
  • Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by BUMP, a division of CBN.
  • Draw Date and Cut-Off:
    • The main draw will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2025 at Ballet BC, 1286 Cartwright Street, Vancouver.
    • To be eligible, ticket purchases must be made no later than 11:59 PM on Monday, February 2, 2025.
  • After purchasing, participants will receive an emailed receipt with their registered ticket numbers generated by a Random Number Issuing System. Numbers are assigned randomly, and specific numbers cannot be requested.
  • The winning ticket number will be selected using a Random Number Generator (RNG) system from all tickets sold. Participants do not need to be present at the time of the draw to win.
  • The winning number will be announced on https://balletbcraffle.com. The winner will also be contacted directly by a Ballet BC representative via phone and/or email.
  • The winner can claim their prize by contacting Ballet BC  by emailing philanthropy@balletbc.com. The winning ticket must be brought to 1286 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC, at a pre-arranged time for verification.
  • The prize will be awarded via gift certificate once the winning ticket is verified. The winner must present the original ticket - copies will not be accepted.
  • The winning ticket holder has 3 months from the draw date to claim their prize.
  • To claim the prize, the winner must provide photo identification and verify their phone number and address.
  • Upon verification, the winner will receive a prize package consisting of: two roundtrip Porter airline travel vouchers valid to travel to any Porter Airline destination; a Worldwide Four Seasons e-Gift Card; two tickets to RWB’s Nutcracker, and a Ballet BC merchandise prize pack. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, the prize will be held until proper identification is provided.
  • All gift certificate reservations are based on space availability. This gift certificate will not be extended beyond its expiry date and is not redeemable in part or in whole for cash. Porter Airline travel vouchers are valid for one roundtrip ticket and must be booked directly over the phone.Taxes and applicable fees are excluded and must be paid by the traveler at the time of booking. All travel must be booked and completed by June 1st, 2026. Expired vouchers cannot be extended or reissued. Worldwide Four Seasons e-Gift Cards are not available to guests in Japan and can be used globally for accommodations, dining, spa services, golf, tennis, and other leisure activities at Four Seasons-managed properties, but not at third-party outlets. Some facilities, such as golf courses and spas, may only be available to in-house guests, and any folio charges, including taxes and gratuities, can be paid with a Gift Card. These cards cannot be used to make room reservations (a credit card is required), have no expiration date, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • If the winner does not claim the prize within 3 months, the unclaimed prize will be donated back to Ballet BC, with approval from the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) of British Columbia.
  • No refunds will be issued for any ticket purchases.
  • Ticket purchasers must be physically located in the province of British Columbia at the time of purchase.
  • Any complaints or concerns can be forwarded via email listed on the raffle ticket or purchasing website. All issues will be addressed directly by Ballet BC.
  • If unforeseen circumstances delay or prevent the draw from occurring as scheduled, Ballet BC will notify ticket holders via email and post updated information on the raffle website.
  • These Rules of Play will be available on the raffle website under the Rules of Play section.
